Julius Caesar (JC) Armstrong age 89 of Mt

A native of Lawrence County he was the son of the late Eural and Alice Lena (Woodson) Armstrong. He joined the United States Armed Services on April 3, 1944 to February 1946 and received two Purple Hearts from World War 11 for his services. After 38 years of service he retired from Stauffer Chemical Company.

He leaves to cherish his memories six daughters; Martha Jane and devoted son-in-Law, Lonnie Lyles, Jackie (Wayne) Patrick, Edirh Dewitt (Whitaker, Pamela and Teresa Armstrong all of Columbia, TN., Julie Ann Armstrong Vestal from Nashville, TN.; Six lovely sons, Glenn Armstrong, Memphis, TN., Donnie, Gary and Cecil (Janice) Armstrong and Freddie Moss all of Columbia, TN., Carl (Elsie) Armstrong of Mt. Pleasant, TN ; One sister, Lillian Peoples of Tanner, Ala.; Three sisters-in-Law, Jennie Mae Vestal, Dorothy Moss and Lula Bailey; Three Brothers-in-Law John Moss, Frank Moss and Don Moss of Killen, TX.
