She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. She is married and has two amazing daughters.

Ms. Brandy Wood was a Teaching Assistant for the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind in Staunton, VA for five years. Additionally, Ms. Brandy is fluent in American Sign Language and is knowledgeable in multiple childhood disabilities and special education. She has successfully completed the Parapro Assessment Test and has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 12 years. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.

Prior to joining the staff, Ms. Claiborne worked as a home family care provider for over two years and was employed through the Hampton Department of Social Services.
